Talisman: Privacy Policy

Talisman does not collect, transmit, or sell any personal data. It has no analytics, no accounts, and no servers run by the developer.
What it stores
The only data Talisman stores is your redirect rules and settings, saved with the browser's extension storage. If your browser has sync enabled, the browser (not Talisman) may sync this across your devices. The developer has no access to it.
Permissions
- Website access: needed to redirect the sites you configure, and to read the current tab's address in the popup (used locally; never transmitted).
- declarativeNetRequest: performs the redirects through the browser's own engine; Talisman does not read your requests.
- Storage: saves your rules and settings.
Third-party instances
Redirect destinations (such as public Invidious, Redlib, or Nitter instances) are run by independent third parties with their own policies. Choose instances you trust.
